A recent party outfit . . .

Casual outfit: hemp shirt and floral pants

I wore this a few days ago when the weather was cooler and a bit drizzly with intermittent rain.

Uniform: Black and White 2

I know I’m cheating a little since technically this is black and cream or black and off-white. Whatevs. Close enough, I say.

Uniform: Dark Background Florals 1

Maybe it was my sorta mis-spent youth in the 90’s (Floral baby doll mini dresses! Over-the-knee socks! Purple rub-off DMs! Ripped fishnets! I can smell the teen spirit as I type this) but I am a sucker for dark-background florals.

As you can imagine, I was pleased when that particular trend circled back around in the fashion-go-round. I think the dark background gives prints a depth they just don’t have with cream or white grounds.

 

Uniform: Yellow, Part 3

The last of the week’s yellow outfits. Apologies in advance for the shaky (and thus out of focus) pix. As some may know, I live with chronic pain; on bad days it can be hard to stand still enough or hold my hands steady enough to take an in-focus picture. Someone who actually knows something about photography probably could, but I can’t (at least right now). The day I took these pics was one of my bad days, I’d exerted myself in all the wrong ways. The dead give-away that I’m not feeling great? I’m wearing flats.
